our story
JAPÓN is a Japanese cusine founded by Aina in 1997. Aina grew up in Tokyo, Japan where she attended a culinary school. She proceeded to open our first JAPÓN branch in 1997.
After 10 years of success, Aina decided to her hometown for the beautiful city of Dallas, Texas. This JAPÓN is our first internatonational location We make sure you all enjoy a little of Japan with every bite. our menu includes hot and cold tastings, makimono, yakimono, tempura, sushi, and sashimi. In addition, Chef de Cuisine Alex Jumeaux creates a seasonal menu that rotates four times a year just for Dallas diners.
